Welcome

Barnabas Leadership Ministries (BLM) exists to encourage and equip under-resourced and under-trained pastors and lay leaders in Eastern, Central and Southern parts of Africa and the world.

To realize the two-fold purpose, stated above, BLM emulates the example of Barnabas in Acts 4:36 and gives a helping H.A.N.D. to the two sets of servant leaders including children (i.e."leaders in the making"). It is our hope and prayer that this will result in the advancing of God's kingdom in their spheres of influence.

The acronym “H.A.N.D.” characterizes the core values, the key result areas or the main objectives of the BLM mission:

  • Help leaders excel in evangelism and discipleship
  • Advance leadership through training and education
  • Network strategically for fellowship and faithfulness
  • Distribute resources for empowering and multiplying leaders

“Now Joseph, a Levite of Cyprian birth, who was also called Barnabas by the apostles (which translated means Son of Encouragement), and who owned a tract of land, sold it and brought the money and laid it at the apostles' feet.”
