Ministry Partners

“Then Barnabas went on to Tarsus to look for Saul. He found him and brought him back to Antioch. They were there a whole year, meeting with the church and teaching a lot of people. It was in Antioch that the disciples were for the first time called Christians.” –Acts 11:25-26, THE MESSAGE by Eugene H. Peterson

As Barnabas sought the partnership of Saul for the ministry in Antioch, Barnabas Leadership Ministries (BLM) seeks the partnership of individuals, churches, businesses, and foundations in order to fulfill her mission. Currently, we are in partnership with the following institutions and individuals:

Heritage Baptist Church – This mission-minded church, in Oklahoma City, has been a Ministry Partner since 1999 when they sent Pastor S. Kirui, the founder of this ministry, as their missionary to Africa. Since then, Heritage has supported Sam in various aspects including his ministry in Africa. Heritage has also cheered on the development of BLM.

All Nations Church - All Nations Church in Oklahoma City asked Sam in April 2006 to participate in their international outreach ministry. This church seeks to evangelize, disciple and train international students through Cell Groups during the week and Celebration Gatherings on Sundays. These students then take the Gospel message back to their home countries upon completing their educational and/or career pursuits.

God is expanding the scope of BLM to not just be limited to Africa but to also reach India and Peru. This is happening through our partnership with these individuals:

  • Shibu Zechariah. He serves with a mission agency in South India. Shibu has given a standing invitation to our ministry to come and train pastors and missionaries in leadership and character. We are hoping this will take place soon. At the same, we are trusting God will enable us to support his work in other ways as well.
  • Augusto & Carolyn Pecho. This is a couple serving the Lord in Peru. Through this family we have come to learn a lot about God’s Work in Peru. We anticipate going there to partner with them or some other Peruvian ministry in the near future. In the meantime, we will pray and assist pastors and lay leaders there as the Lord directs and provides!

“So then, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you may do, do all for the honor and glory of God.” 1 Corinthians 10:31, Amplified Bible
